A Wedding in Sikeston...

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Aaron! I had such a wonderful time meeting Mallory and Rob this weekend. I knew things were going to go well as soon as Mallory's mom offered me a plate full of food Saturday morning - specifically the french toast casserole.

I do not think I have ever laughed so much and had such a great time photographing a wedding as I did this weekend. Mallory was such a beautiful bride. The wedding was meticulously planned with intricate things that were special to both Rob and Mallory from the chucks to the gorgeous flowers, to my personal favorite - the CANDY BAR - it was great! What a wonderful evening! Enjoy the pics!

Can you say L.O.V.E this picture.

Now I am just not sure which one I like better...the one above or this one..but I have come to the conclusion that natural light is awesome.

Fall Pictures of my Boy

These blogs are all out of order but that is how life is. SO...here are a few pics (well more than a "few") of Caleb a few weeks ago. We just went down to a local park to check out the Fall colors. ENJOY.

P.S. I just could not decide which ones I wanted to post.

ROADTRIP: Our adventure to Sikeston, MO..Kentucky..and Tennessee

We had a fun filled weekend out in Sikeston, MO where I was shooting a wedding on Saturday (pics to come later).

Photobucket

We did not really get to check out the town of Sikeston very much but we did come across a couple of COTTON FIELDS right in the middle of town! I know it seems silly but I was so excited because I had never really seen cotton on the plant before. Silly I know, but look at how cool it is!

After I got done with the wedding we made our way out to Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky. John and I had visited there once before during one of our many road trips for his job. We had such a wonderful, relaxing trip. The country side was beautifully speckled with gorgeous reds, yellows, and oranges. I think every time I visit places like this they just feed on my temptation to pick up and move there some day.

And...I could not believe how HUGE the acorns were! I think they are mutants!

John took a few shots of Caleb and I.

They were all sorts of berries too. I could have taken pictures of them all day.

Last but definitely not least we drove into Tennessee and saw the buffalo. Too bad it was pouring down rain, and I could not get out and take pictures.

Precious Boys: Asher and Micah

I had such a wonderful time yesterday with the Hahn Family going on a beautiful drive to Harrison, AR to take pictures of their two precious little boys. The Hahns just recently had a new little addition to their family, Micah Daniel. He is such a handsome little man but he was not incredibly thrilled to be doing photos yesterday, and quite frankly I guess I would not have enjoyed being put in a basket or a box either.

The Hahns have another little boy, Asher - who has the most beautiful blue eyes! He was so much fun to take pictures of yesterday. I enjoy taking pictures of children because each one of them has their own little personality, and every once in a while I get to capture that in a photo. Thank you Emily for your patience. I believe it was worth it!

The Fogle Family

Yesterday I got to spend some time with the Fogle Family traveling around Springfield for some senior photos for their youngest daughter Ellen. I knew the photo shoot was going to go well the moment Ellen's mother handed me an ice-cold sweat tea that she had bought for me on their way over to the photo shoot (thanks again for the tea). The weather was gorgeous and thank goodness for that, because I made the Fogle Family walk all over. We definitely got our workout for the day but I am sure it was worth it, and we could not have asked for a better day. Who would have thought October would be this beautiful? Perfect way to end the week: a beautiful day with a beautiful photo shoot.

Congratulations to...

Mr. and Mrs. Thompson

Just this past Friday Brandon and Kary Thompson got hitched at Samuel Cedars which is in Rogersville. It was a surprisingly warm October day which was perfect for this little outdoor wedding, and they could not have picked a better venue!

Before the wedding we all headed down to a park in south Springfield to take some pre-wedding photos, and I am quite happy with how they turned out.

Brandon and Kary were such a fun couple to photograph, and I very much enjoyed capturing their special moments throughout the day.

I must say the reception was perfectly themed and well decorated. Kary's sisters and family helped with the decorations, and they did a fantastic job!

P.S. I think outdoor weddings are definitely my favorite. Enjoy!!!
